But those who witnessed the cope would definitely say it was one of the most closely-fought finals that took spot in past life. The seduction is real deceiving and mightiness not be impartial to Nadal, who proved his mortal during the adult. His superior was not gracious sufficiency to win him change arrogated Djo kovic 4 hours and 10 proceedings to bag the appellation.
The US Open finals 2011 would be remembered more for the quality of tennis that was on display. It was of top quality, where both the players were trying to outdo one another from the first ball of the match. Nadal was determined to defeat the Serbian player, as he has not beaten Djokovic in the last six finals that they have played.
Some of the rallies that took place during the match were simply scintillating as they seemed to enjoy the crowd’s presence with every passing shot. They were involved in long rallies, where one had to ask whether they were playing on the hard courts of the US or clay courts of Paris, where one gets to see long relentless rallies. Some of the rallies seemed to be never ending one.
Both these players were matching shot for shot. Djokovic forehand was replied by Nadal with his top spin shots. Nadal’s backhand was met with Djokovic’s equal force while returning. They were finding winners through cross court shots, which are very difficult to execute. Some of the shots played were so powerful like a bullet fired from a gun.
It can also be said that Nadal was unlucky during the match as he hit many unforced errors, when he needed to score some important points. On the other hand, Djokovic hit as many as 55 winners, as compared to Nadal’s 32. The competition between the two players was very close, but the stats in the record books would go as Djokovic wining 146 points, where as Nadal winning 122 points during the match. It is the crowd that were present in the stadium, who will be able to tell how competitive the match was. Everyone has to accept that it was Djokovic who played better on the given day. But we cannot take anything away from Nadal’s performance, who put up a brave fight. Had it been any other player in the circuit, it could have been Nadal’s title, with the quality of Tennis that was showcased in the court.
Both these players were all over the court as they did not want to lose even a single point. They sweated it out in the court, and the crowd were very pleased to watch these players who gave it all to win the tournament, which was very special for both these players.
